Our company has always been based in the pretty little town of Arbois, in the heart of the vineyards, where the cellars and wineries rustle with a thousand anecdotes and the unchanging gestures used to make our great wines
in the coolness of our cellars.
In the vineyard and in the cellar, traditional, exacting know-how
Our Auguste Pirou wines are the fruit of close collaboration with our winemaking partners, who bring us their best grapes, grown using environmentally-friendly viticultural practices.
Our winemakers work with them to choose the right harvest date, when the grapes from our typical varieties are at their best. The wines are then vinified patiently, with rigor and care, to express all their flavors. Several months of ageing in vats or barrels, depending on the wine, and even several years for certain exceptional cuvées, help to refine the flavours of each cuvée.
